There are several Tuition Assistance programs available to assist individuals with funding for Workforce and Career Training in the State of West Virginia. Both grant and loan programs are available depending upon the type of training being sought as well as specific student elibibility critera.

WV Higher Education Adult Part-Time Student (HEAPS) Grant
Income based program.
Provides up to $2000 of tuition assistance.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application required - use Pierpont School Code #040385
|Workforce Investment Act (WIOA)
Administered by Work Force West Virginia.
Programs for Adults, Youth and Dislocated Workers.
|WV Veterans' Re-Education Scholarships
||Veteran (honorable discharge, >180 consecutive days service).
Income and/or un-employment based.
Provides up to $1500 of tuition assistance.
|Sector Partnership Grant
Administered by Workforce West Virginia. Courses must be in Healthcare, Energy, Manufacturing, or Information Technology. Student must be unemployed.
Provides up to $5000.00 in tuition and $1600 in supportive services.

Please note that these Financial Aid program are designed specifically for Workforce and Career training and differ from those available to academic degree completion (Associate, Bachelors, Masters, etc.) students. Degree students should be directed toward Pierpont's Financial Aid Office for more information.
